Pasture Raised Italian Chicken Sausage Lasagna

Ah, lasagna. One of the greatest comfort foods of all time, an excellent freezer meal, and all-around crowd pleaser. Cheesy goodness paired with 1915 Farm pasture raised Italian chicken sausage – win, win!

Serves 8-12
  • 2 lbs. 1915 Farm Pasture Raised Italian Chicken Sausage
  • 48oz. of your favorite marinara sauce
  • 2 lb. bag of mozzarella cheese
  • 32oz. cottage cheese
  • 32oz. ricotta cheese
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 Box lasagna noodles (no boil)
Preheat oven to 350°

In a medium bowl, mix together cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and 1lb. of mozzarella. Set aside.

Gently heat minced garlic until fragrant, brown your sausage in the same pan. Add Italian seasoning to the meat and cheese mixtures.

Once meat is brown, stir in pasta sauce.

Next, begin layering the lasagna. Start with a thin layer of pasta/meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 pan, then add a layer of uncooked noodles, then another layer of meat sauce. Next, spread cheese mixture on top.

Continue the noodle, meat sauce, and cheese mixture until the pan is full. Spread remaining mozzarella cheese over the top.

Bake in a preheated oven for 60–90 minutes until lasagna is set and cheese is golden and bubbling on top. Let rest 45-60 minutes before serving.

Enjoy!
