A simple way to dress up 1915 Farm Pasture Raised Jalapeño & Cheddar Pork Sausage. Delicious as a light dinner or appetizer!
- 1 package 1915 Farm Pasture Raised Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage
- 1 T garlic (minced)
- 1 yellow onion (sliced)
- 1 orange bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 green bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 yellow bell pepper (sliced)
- 2 T olive oil
- 1915 grill seasoning
- Worcestershire sauce, to taste
- 1 can pickled jalapeños
- 1 8oz. package cream cheese
- 1 16oz. package sharp cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 375°
Cut a slit down the center of each sausage link, being careful not to cut them all the way through. Stuff center of sausages with with 1 1/2 tablespoons cream cheese, a few sprinkles of 1915 Grill seasoning, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, handful of jalapeños, and top them with cheddar cheese.
Bake sausage cups for 35 minutes. Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium high, heat olive oil until hot. Then, sauté onions and peppers with a large pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of 1915 Grill Seasoning. Add garlic and continue sautéing until everything is softened.
Once sausage boats are cooked through, broil them on high for 2 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
Serve sausage boats over sautéed veggies.
