Pasture Raised Italian Chicken Sausage Lasagna Recipe

1915 Farm Pasture Raised Italian Chicken Sausage puts a delicious spin on classic lasagna. A simple but tasty dinner built with your favorite tomato sauce, 3 cheeses, and lots of Italian flavor!

Serves 8-12

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 2 lbs 1915 Farm Pasture Raised Italian Chicken Sausage
  • 48oz. jar of tomato sauce
  • 2lb. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 32oz. cottage cheese
  • 32oz. ricotta cheese
  • Italian seasoning to taste
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 box lasagna noodles (no boil)

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°

In a medium bowl, mix cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, and 1 lb of the mozzarella. Set aside.

Heat a skillet to medium-high, and drizzle in a splash of olive oil. Add chicken sausage and sauté until browned. Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning, then stir in the tomato sauce.

To layer lasagna – spoon some of the meat/tomato sauce into a 9x13 baking dish, then add a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of cheese mixture.

Continue layering until meat/tomato sauce and cheese mixture is used up. Top the dish with remaining 1 lb. of mozzarella cheese.

Bake for 60–90 minutes until lasagna is set, yet slightly jiggly.

Rest for an hour before serving. Enjoy!
