Grassfed Bavette Steak Recipe

A steak fit for a crowd, the whole bavette is a craft cut from the bottom sirloin and perfect for grilling. A simple marinade highlights the flavor of delicious grassfed, pasture raised steak.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1915 Farm Grassfed Bavette (2-3 lbs)

  • Kosher salt
  • 2-3 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 3-4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1915 Grill Seasoning, to taste
  • Fried eggs (optional)
  • Beef Tallow

INSTRUCTIONS

Season steak with kosher salt, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce and 1915 Grill Seasoning and marinade at room temperature for up to an hour.

Heat outdoor grill to 400° and cook each side for about 3 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached (we like 130-135° for a nice medium rare).

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. To serve, section the steak into 3-4 pieces and be sure to cut against the grain when slicing.
