Pasture Raised Chicken Alfredo Recipe

A spin on classic Fettucine Alfredo – a family favorite! This dish is leveled up with our delicious, nutritious pasture raised chicken. 

INGREDIENTS

  • Two 1915 Farm Pasture Raised Chicken Breast
  • 1 ½ sticks of butter
  • 12 oz. fettuccine
  • 6 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ block cream cheese
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Season chicken breast with cayenne pepper, salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a skillet with 2 tablespoons butter, then add chicken breasts. Cook until internal temp of 165° is reached (about 4 minutes each side). Remove chicken breast and set aside.
In the same skillet melt the remaining butter but don’t let it bubble. Then add the garlic, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Slowly add the heavy cream and stir to combine. Then, add sour cream and cream cheese and mix. It will take time to thicken up. Add salt and pepper to taste, along with cayenne pepper if using. Next, add parmesan cheese.
If your mixture is too thick add a dash of whole milk until the desired consistency is reached. Once the sauce is done, toss fettuccine to combine. Serve with sliced chicken breast over top!
